Support Arts Residencies for K-12 Students With Disabilities 🎨

Donate today to support Inclusive Arts Vermont's Collaborative Arts Integration Residency (CAIR) program, which serves K-12 students with disabilities across the state!

The CAIR program partners teaching artists with classroom teachers to integrate the arts into the classroom environment and curriculum, while simultaneously supporting social and emotional development for reluctant and reactive learners.

This program is thoughtfully designed to serve students with disabilities who would otherwise have little or no access to arts education. Through this model, we provide between 10-20 hours of arts residency time at low/no cost to the schools we work with. We create opportunities to combine arts education with language arts, history, science, social studies and other core subjects to make progress toward learning goals, as well as to showcase their work to the community.

This program has faced significant hardships in recent years. Federal funding cuts for the arts, higher demand for state arts support, and increased budget constraints at the schools we partner with have threatened the sustainability of this program.

However, your generous support will help to ensure that these vital residencies can continue! Our fundraising goal for this campaign is $7,500. If we meet this goal, we’ll be able to deliver at least 4 residencies in our 2023-24 program year serving over 300 students. If we exceed this goal, we’ll be able to increase this number and deliver even more arts education to students in need of creative expression!
