Co-operation Ireland is an all-island peace-building organization.  The organization works to build a shared and cohesive society by addressing legacy issues of the conflict that took place within the island of Ireland and facilitating contact and collaboration between people from different backgrounds across these islands.

Under the current strategic plan, the programs are primarily targeted to young people and marginalized communities which have experience the worse impacts of the conflict.  One of the most successful programs is the accredited leadership program, Future Leaders' Programme which connects emerging leaders to build the next generation of peacebuilders on the island of Ireland.   Through the ongoing support of individual donors and organizations this program, alongside with other key initiatives continue to gain traction.
