As the Treasurer of the Find Community Connection Project (FCCP) and a dedicated nursing student, I am passionate about serving others and making a difference in my community. In both my studies and my work at the hospital, I’ve learned the importance of compassion, care, and giving back.
Supporting the FCCP Holiday Community Resource Day & Toy Giveaway is especially meaningful to me because it reflects those same values, providing children and families with joy, resources, and hope during the holiday season. By contributing to this campaign, you’re helping us reach more families, spread kindness, and create lasting memories for the children who need it most.
Holiday Community Resource Day & Toy Giveaway
Our current $5,000 fundraising goal will directly support our Holiday Community Resource Day & Toy Giveaway, which provides toys, coats, warm meals, books, and most importantly, connections to critical community resources for children and families in Brooklyn, NY, and Kearny, NJ.
Last year, with the help of partners and supporters, we served over 1,000 families by providing not only holiday gifts but also access to wellness resources, educational materials, and local service providers.
Your donations this year will help us:
- Provide toys, coats, and holiday gifts for families in need
- Offer meals, refreshments, and family-friendly activities
- Connect families with community organizations and resource providers
- Cover event logistics, venue, and setup
- Support volunteers and community engagement
- Fund marketing and outreach to reach even more families
