The Kattlen Gabriel Fund, a program of The Harrilal Foundation, was created to support families caring for loved ones with severe disabilities who require around-the-clock care.

The fund is named in honor of Kattlen Gabriel, whose life is a daily reminder of resilience, unconditional love, and the extraordinary strength of family. Living with brain damage and cerebral palsy, Kattlen is unable to walk, speak, or care for herself. She depends entirely on 24/7 assistance for every aspect of daily life.

Like thousands of families across the country, Kattlen’s parents work full-time while providing constant care. Yet despite having health insurance, they receive only a limited number of covered home healthcare hours, leaving families to shoulder overwhelming financial and emotional burdens.

No family should have to choose between earning a living and ensuring their loved one receives the care they deserve.
