CORE, Wayuu Taya & Acceso: Venezuela Earthquake Emergency

On June 24, twin earthquakes struck northern Venezuela within seconds of each other. The tremors, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitudes, were the most powerful to hit the country in over a century. They’ve caused widespread outages, collapsed countless buildings, and left entire communities in ruins.

Your donation today goes directly into the hands of families in Venezuela — through three trusted humanitarian organizations:

  • CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) — a global emergency response nonprofit founded by Sean Penn and Ann Lee after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, leading on-the-ground operations in Caracas, La Guaira, Turmero, and Morón.
  • The Wayuu Taya Foundation — 25 years supporting Venezuela's most vulnerable communities — their local trust and distribution networks mean aid reaches people fast.
  • Acceso — an international nonprofit that brings deep expertise in food systems and rural supply chains, ensuring resources reach families in even the most remote areas.
