Period Action Day (PAD) is the moment when the menstrual movement comes together around a shared goal: donate 1 million period products and fund the work that keeps change moving all year long. Why is this important? Because in the United States alone:
- 24% of teens struggle to afford period products.
- 1 in 3 miss class time because of it.
- 59% say period stigma affects them personally.
Cost and silence have turned something ordinary into a barrier to school, sports, confidence, and opportunity. No one should lose a seat in class, a spot on a team, or sense of self-worth because of their period.
