One Earth Conservation works with parrots as a gateway species who can guide us to transform the way humans perceive and treat nature and each other. We are a small, but mighty, not-for-profit organization, based in the USA, that is having a large impact on parrot conservation and human attitudes towards nature in countries in Central America and South America. Our mission is to promote parrot well-being in the Americas by conducting transformative parrot conservation, taking action to end the wildlife trade, and encouraging in people a strong sense of human connection to all life that results in the well-being of all.
ARCAS Vision To improve the chances of survival and conservation of endangered species and their habitat, as well as assist in the rational management of natural resources. ARCAS Mission 1. Rescue, rehabilitation and release of wildlife 2. Environmental education 3. Research 4. Co-administration of protected areas 5. Sustainable community development and ecotourism ARCAS 's objectives are: To strive for the conservation, preservation, protection and research of wildlife. To rescue, rehabilitate and reintroduce into their natural habitat wild animals seized from illegal traffickers. To promote and assist in the creation and management of protected habitat areas for wild animals To support tropical wildlife veterinary medicine and research. To reproduce endangered wildlife. To raise awareness among Guatemalans and visiting tourists about the need to conserve natural resources through a program of education and information dissemination. To develop and promote economic alternatives in rural communities to the unsustainable consumption of natural resources.
Fly the Phoenix believes that education, as well as daily food, are basic human rights. In order to combat the imbalances of these rights, we are creating sustainable, 25-year cycle, educational community programs. These are funded by our local income-initiatives, challenges and international donations through our registered charity, Fly The Phoenix.
LifeTime Projects organises humanitarian and ecological projects in Bolivia, Guatemala, England and Cameroon. Our projects are all set up with local partner organizations in order to help build upon ongoing projects designed by, and for local people to help and empower vulnerable children, women and families and/or to protect local wildlife.
