Chunhui Children's Foundation exists to bring family love and care to China's most vulnerable children. We operate and support nurturing and education programs with a proven track record for enabling at-risk children to reach their full potential. We will not stop until every child knows she is loved, knows her life matters, and has a chance at a bright future. Chunhui Children's Foundation's responsive, child-centered programs focus on nurturing the whole child. It draws from the Western Reggio Emilia approach to enhancing each individual child's development and from the Chinese educational mandate that children learn about the arts, the sciences, language, social development and health. The goal is to prepare children to enter society at an intellectual and social level with their peers while surrounding them with a stimulating, healthy emotional and learning environment. Chunhui's approach, adapted to each developmental stage, offers continuity of nurturing care, from birth to young adulthood.

HER Fund was set up on March 8, 2004 by a group of women activists in honour of International Women's Day. We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3. Using sport for improved education - by providing pathways to success for talented and dedicated individuals through scholarships to top local schools and tertiary education.
