As Neuro continued to grow its direct-to-consumer business, the team wanted to integrate philanthropy into its customer experience without adding friction to the checkout process. The company needed a solution that would allow customers to support nonprofits easily while purchasing products online, while also giving Neuro the flexibility to run campaigns such as donation matching and percentage-of-sales giving.
Neuro implemented Pledge’s Give & Grow Shopify integration, enabling customers to add donations to charitable organizations directly during checkout. The partnership began with a Lunar New Year campaign supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which raised $700 in its first month. Encouraged by the response, Neuro kept the giving features active beyond the initial campaign and continued to expand its efforts through initiatives like donation matching and percentage-of-sales campaigns. Over time, the momentum grew significantly, reaching $24,000 in customer donations within six months and $48,000 within the first year. What began as a simple experiment eventually scaled into a long-term giving program that has raised nearly $500,000 for charitable causes.
