Amnistia Internacional - Asociacion Civil Pro-Amnistia is the Argentina Chapter of Amnesty International, a global human rights organization founded in 1961. Its mission is to investigate and expose serious human rights violations, protect victims and people at risk, and demand accountability from governments and other authorities.
The organization works independently and impartially, refusing funding from governments and political parties, and relies primarily on the support of individuals. Through rigorous research, legal advocacy, public campaigns, and international mobilization, the Argentina Chapter of Amnesty International seeks to prevent abuses, secure justice for victims, and promote lasting human rights protections in Argentina and around the world.
