The Covid19 pandemic has made the economic difficulties of many people even more evident. Looking at the social policies website of the Municipality of Milan, the first wave of the emergency has brought over 18,000 families below the poverty threshold. I, therefore, created a WhatsApp chat of ordinary citizens "de Milan col Coeur in Man", which supports communities, family homes, homeless people, and people reported by volunteers and/or parishes. Over time we wanted to extend our network of collaboration with other associations, thus being able to offer together: Support of primary assets We recover unsold food from markets and artisanal producers which is then distributed to families, shelters, family homes Cooperation with other associations and parishes for the temporary stay and reception of international refugees Donation of basic necessities and medicines for shipments to countries affected by a health emergency or war Support for homeless people and their pets Enthusiasm, desire to do and participation in a noble project have allowed great results.
