The Donald Woods Foundation is dedicated to fighting poverty througheducation, health and community-building programmes in South Africa. Currentprogrammes include screening over 1,000 people a month for HIV, supportingand caring for those who are HIV positive and an orphans and vulnerablechildren programme. The new 100 schools programme is designed to address anyand every aspect of a school's development in deeply impoverished, ruralcommunities, working in partnership with the Dept of Education.
