The association aims at providing comprehensive assistance to people with a handicap in Belgium. Therein the association shall not discriminate on the basis of race, creed or sex. The assistance of people with a handicap comprises the purchase of dogs, the education of dogs and their placement. These dogs shall perform different tasks thereby giving people with a handicap greater autonomy and self-reliance. The association shall also help train peoples' own dogs into assistance dogs. Furthermore the association also wishes to act as spokesperson for people with a disability giving them the opportunity to participate in everyday life whenever and wherever. This includes the common right to access public places with a dog, as well as support regarding the technical means enabling access to public buildings. The association also intends to breed, purchase and sell dogs and to train dogs in general in order to achieve the preceding. The association shall also purchase, train and place therapy dogs, without any limitation as regards race. These therapy dogs shall be able to assist professionals of the social service sector in their work. The association shall sell various objects in order to sponsor its activities. The association may carry out any activity necessary to achieve its goal, directly or indirectly.
