Canine Companions for Independence is a nonprofit that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly trained service dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships at no cost to clients. The Southwest Training Center is one of six regional training centers located across the nation! We primarily serve residents of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Hawaii. Our dogs are matched with children (age 5+), adults, and Veterans with disabilities, as well as with professionals working with vulnerable populations in healthcare, criminal justice, and educational settings.

The mission of 4 Paws for Ability is to: - Enrich the lives of children with disabilities by the training and placement of quality, task trained service dogs to provide increased independence for the children and assistance to their families. - Enrich the lives of veterans from recent conflicts who have lost the use of their limbs or their hearing while in active combat. - Educate the public to accept the use of service dogs in public places. - Assist with animal rescue when possible.

The Centre for the Conservation of Specialized Species is a registered charitable organization based in Eastern Ontario, dedicated to the captive propagation and reintroduction of Threatened and Endangered wildlife as an insurance policy against extinction. The Centre has no political or interest group affiliations. The Centre is home to approximately 100 birds of prey including Eagles, Owls, Hawks, and Falcons, fruit bats from Africa, Jamaica, and the Amazon River Basin, Vampire Bats from South America and prosimians. The Centre is currently the only facility in Canada successfully maintaining and propagating the Lesser Galago (Galago moholi).

\u200BFriends with Four Paws is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization formed to rescue animals in Oklahoma from imminent death by having mobile adoption locations and providing foster care for dogs and cats. Founded in 1998, we have matched thousands of dogs and cats with their perfect, forever homes, where they otherwise would have been sent to the Rainbow Bridge.

Living With Elephants Foundation is a Botswana-based non profit organisation dedicated to conservation of the African Elephant. The Foundation provides rescued African elephants with a second chance and safe home in the wilderness of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Doug and Sandi Groves have dedicated nearly 30 years to providing world-class care and refuge to these orphans. The elephants thrive in a loving supportive environment and are provided with specialized care. Living With Elephants is fiscally sponsored by SocialGood.

We are one of only 5 schools in Canada that trains guide dogs for the blind. We are the second organization in the country to train dogs specifically for children with autism. We also train service dogs for people with a variety of physical challenges such as cerebral palsy, spinal chord injuries and more. Unique to Dogs with Wings is our in home training program. Our mobility trainers travel to the client's home to establish routines of home, work and school. We are the only school that trains this way, all others have the client travel to the school and live in residence for up to 28 days.

Villa Chardonnay, Horses with Wings, Inc. sanctuary is dedicated to the compassionate care of senior animals, primarily horses. We provide love, a forever home and critical care for abused, neglected, slaughter-bound and/or abandoned creatures. Our goal is to improve animal rights, eliminate abusive training and be the voice of those who cannot speak. To provide long-term care for mainly "special needs" and elderly horses and other animals. As a sanctuary, we provide a permanent home to all of the animals we rescue mainly horses. We are an assisted living and nursing home providing skilled care till their last breath.

To promote the education and practice of people to live in integration, interconnection and harmony with the earth, plants, animals, and each other through best practices of agriculture, medicine, water, shelter, energy, and waste cycling.

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah envisions a community that understands, values and promotes the ways in which pets enrich our lives. Its mission is to better the lives of pets and people. The organization offers a range of programs/services, including: dog and cat adoptions, pet surrender services, low-cost spay/neuter, vaccine clinics, Nuzzle Buddies, Foster Program and a Volunteer Program.

Locally, and throughout Connecticut, For The Love Of Jack is a vocal advocate for sick, injured and hungry animals and their owners as well as a provider of food, medical care and other appropriate forms of assistance for those who need our help We run frequent fund raisers and beg for donations to this end.
