The feline healthcare team at Uniquely Cats® Veterinary Center is motivated by a deep passion for cats — for helping cats to live healthy lives, for helping sick cats to get better, for nurturing the human-feline bond, and for sharing their knowledge and the joy of feline health and happiness. They are dedicated to providing the most thorough, compassionate, and advanced care to each individual cat entrusted to their care. A donation to their Angel Fund will help cat families that are in need of financial support to care for their beloved kitty.
Our mission is to reduce the number of animals surrendered and euthanized at our local shelter. We provide life-saving treatment for heartworm positive shelter dogs in Rockwall. Dogs previously euthanized just for testing positive are now given a new life and turned from being unadoptable into adoptable! This allows animals to be adopted with the owner not having to assume the huge expense of treatment or the dog going without treatment. We strive to educate dog and cat owners about Heartworm Disease and impress upon owners the easy and inexpensive prevention of heartworm disease (versus the often difficult and expensive treatment).** Cats should be on prevention because there is no available treatment at this time.
The mission of Have a Heart is to reduce the overpopulation and subsequent euthanasia of homeless dogs by making spay/neuter services available at low or no cost as the situation warrants. Additional mission is to help with food, shelter and medical care of homeless dogs.
