We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, dachshund dog rescue organization based in Central Florida, although we do work in other states as fosters become available. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases such as Facebook and other social media, and at adoption events/expos.

We are a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We are not a shelter, and we have no central location for the dogs we rescue. We pull dogs from various shelters and provide foster homes until they are adopted. In doing so, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of, such dogs. We strive to match each dog with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home.

To provide homeless Collies , Shelties, and other family friendly dogs in need, a safe haven where they will receive medical care, nutrition and love until their forever homes are found.

Headin' Home Pet Rescue, founded in 2008, is a branch of Mapleview Animal Hospital. Striving to provide the best possible care to their animal friends, they became involved in rescue work back in 1994.

Bring shelter services into the community to assist families in their pet needsto prevent the surrender of their animals to local municipal shelters, therebydecreasing the number of animals surrendered to municipal shelters.4.TrainingWheels: Provides support and services for low-income families. Allowsfamilies in difficult financial situations to keep pets in their homesrather than surrendering them to a municipal shelter by offering food, shelter, peteducation, and medical services for free or reduced cost.

Their mission is to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote respect and compassion for all animals through education. To provide quality homes for cats and dogs through our adoption programs. To reduce euthanasia by saving pets from going to animal control and pulling pets from animal control when resources permit. To provide shelter and care for homeless and unwanted animals, reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter and TNR (Trap Neuter Return) of feral cats, and reunite lost animals with their owners.

Animal rescue is at our core. We are a hands-on team, here for all breeds and species, always ready to take the call for help, to go out and do whatever it takes to bring an animal to safety, and provide for needed medical attention. We find safe places for healing and recovery, not in a small cage or concrete shelter stall, but in a peaceful foster home that is therapeutic, both physically and mentally. Seniors, special-needs, and other animals that are most in need are our focus.But rescue is not enough. We are here to help the community with programs to keep responsible pet owners and their pets together including: Supporting local food banks with pet food and supplies, need-based basic veterinary care subsidies, spay/neuter, and other assistance as appropriate.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO SAVE THE LIVES OF CATS AND DOGS WHO HAVE UNFORTUNATELY FOUND THEMSELVES IN HIGH RATE EUTHANIZING ANIMAL SHELTERS THROUGHT THE UNITED STATES. THESE ANIMALS FIND THEMSELVES IN THESE TYPE OF SHELTERS DUE TO ABUSE, NEGLECT, BECOMING HOMELESS, OR BEING SURRENDERED BY THEIR OWNERS.

The corporation is organized to educate the public about the ethical treatment of all animals, prevention of animal cruelty, and how to lead a compassionate lifestyle.

Forever Home is a small rescue dedicated to finding the right forever home for our dogs. All of our dogs live in foster homes before adoption. We take in owner surrenders and also work closely with Wynne Friends of Animals in Wynne Arkansas to adopt dogs in their program. We do it because we love animals.
