Hawaii Conservation Alliance Foundation

The Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance Foundation (HCAF) was formed in September of 2006 by the members of the Hawai'i Conservation Alliance (HCA). The HCAF was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to secure private support for the programs and activities of the HCA, actively promulgate information on Hawai'i's conservation values and needs, fund conservation grants, and promote conservation education and awareness. The HCA is a cooperative partnership of 25 member agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations that promote effective, long-term management of Hawai'i's native ecosystems through collaborative research, training, and outreach among land managers, scientists, educators, and the general public. The partners of the Alliance have a combined stewardship of more than 80% of Hawaiʻi's native terrestrial ecosystems and 100% of its marine reserves.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (TWRF) was established as a 501c(3) nonprofit organization to support our Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).  We support the Agency by promoting habitat conservation, responsible land stewardship and Tennessee's hunting & fishing heritage.  We also assist with TWRA youth education programs and strategic land acquisitions to provide opportunities for habitat conservation/restoration and public hunting.  Bottom line:  Through our fundraising efforts and support, we provide a synergy to help the TWRA realize its goals which ultimately are the goals of our state's fishing and hunting users. Our Heritage Club members can participate in any of the exclusive events we host throughout the year; the Tennessee Governor's One-Shot Turkey Hunt and the TWRF Regional Invitational Dove Hunts.

Four Feet Companion Foundation

Four Feet Companion Foundation raises funds for local animal charities through events, donations, and corporate support. Our priority areas of funding are spay/neuter, companion animal rescue, adoption programs and emergency veterinary medical care. Collectively we have over 30 years of rescue experience, as co-founders of a local rescue organization or as core volunteers with various rescue organizations. However, we felt it was time to try to help all reputable rescues, and support them when needed. They work tirelessly to help animals in need. We believe a program like this is greatly needed. Having been in rescue, we were inundated on a daily basis with calls for help. Whether it is an emergency situation such as a puppy mill, hoarder or accident, rescues seem to be always juggling a balancing act between saving lives and being able to afford the time and money needed to help.

WESTERN PURPLE MARTIN FOUNDATION

Western Purple Martin Foundation is currently working on the conservation of western Purple Martins in British Columbia where they are a Species At Risk and are only found around the Strait of Georgia. Much of the western Purple Martin natural nesting habitat was destroyed through land clearing activities and this bird species almost became locally extinct. Only 5 known breeding pairs remained in 1985. Through a successful nest box stewardship and recovery program a large number of caring volunteers have helped increase the BC Purple Martin population to our short-term goal of 800 pairs in 2012. The BC population continues to grow and reached ~950 pairs in 2013. Our long-term goal is to re-introduce BC Purple Martins back into remaining natural nesting habitat in open forest and near freshwater. Together we can build on almost 30 years of success, preserve species diversity and return martins to their natural nesting habitat.

Pumpkins For Pigs Foundation

Our mission is to reduce food waste in our communities by diverting viable foodstuffs, including pumpkins, to farms, animal sanctuaries and rescues for feed or compost. PFPF started in 2017 with 10 donation sites in Loudoun County, Virginia with the aim of reducing food waste one pumpkin at a time. Since then, we have grown to over 600 donation sites in 45 states and Canada. In 2023, we diverted 800 tons (1.6 million pounds) of pumpkins and other foodstuffs from landfills into the mouths of some very hungry and happy animals. That's the equivalent of the carbon (CO2) emissions of 72 passenger vehicles for a year! And, we are just getting started!

The Ocean Foundation - SeaWeb

By raising public awareness, advancing science-based solutions and mobilizing decision-makers around ocean conservation, we are leading voices for a healthy ocean. SeaWeb was founded to address the lack of public engagement on ocean issues, and works to reverse this trend by enabling key decision-makers to better understand the complexities of important marine environmental problems. In addition, our social marketing techniques enable the marine conservation community to effectively communicate sound solutions to these problems - another vital aspect of our unique approach to solving critical conservation questions.
