From the fertile thoughts of this great mission, education was chosen as the nurturing link to the future of Angels. By education the pet owners on responsible guardianship and the importance of spaying and neutering, these two woman would work to change the perception of animals as property to companions, and reduce the senseless number of animals killed because of overpopulation, abandonment and disease.

To help heal the emotional wounds of military Veterans by using the power of the human-animal bond to provide a second chance for shelter animals by rescuing, training and pairing them with America's servicemen and women who could benefit from having a companion animal.

To improve the quality of life for dogs living outdoors by building fences free of charge for families who keep their dogs on chains, tethers, or in small enclosures. We also provide a doghouse for each dog, as well as spay/neuter services and emergency veterinary care when needed. To accelerate the unchaining movement, we actively support and mentor new unchaining groups all over the country.

The Alliance for Animals is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rights organization whose fundamental belief is that all animals, human and nonhuman, should not be treated as the property of another. The Alliance was created to promote ethical, compassionate treatment of all animals and the planet we share.

Action for Animals is an educational organization that works to promote positive change in the ways people view and treat animals. Because every animal has the right to live his or her life free from oppression and exploitation, AFA promotes a vegan diet and lifestyle—not using animals for food, clothing, entertainment, research, trade, or any other objectifying purpose—and vegan activism as the best way to take action for animals.

Pillows for Paws donates essential material items including beds, toys, treats, grooming and behavioral enrichment items to NYC shelter animals.

Allies for Greyhounds, Inc. retrieves greyhounds bred for racing. We look out for the welfare of greyhounds, finding homes for them where they may live out their natural lives as pets. We also work to educate the public about their qualities as pets and their care.

Corals for Conservation (C4C) addresses poverty-driven coral reef decline by developing sustainable, community-appropriate enterprises designed to shift the burden away from over-used and depleted fisheries resources. C4C promotes "coral gardeners" as new profession for resorts, providing employment and added value to the industry while contributing to coral reef conservation and restoration. We recognize that if people and industry are major parts of the problem then they are also major parts of the solution.
