Phoenix Landing provides for parrots in need and acts as advocates for those without protection. Phoenix Landing seeks to improve the quality of life for all parrots. Our objectives are to: * Provide educational activities regarding the care and needs of parrots; * Facilitate adoption for parrots who need a new family; * Provide a home for large parrots who outlive their guardians; * Provide a new home for neglected or unwanted parrots; * Sponsor research of wild habitats and natural parrot behaviors; * Support conservation and eco-tourism; * Sponsor better avian education for vets and vet students; and * Advocate standards of care for breeders, pet stores, sanctuaries, and rescues.

Neigh Savers provides California's Thoroughbreds with a chance at a second career or a well deserved retirement when their racing careers have come to an end due to soundness issues, age or lack of success at the track.

To support the activities of local animal charities as well as assist in finding lifelong homes for animals in need.

TO PREVENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR VETERINARY CARE FOR DOGS OR OTHER DOMESTIC PETS IN NEED AND TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE ANIMAL RESCUE AND SERVICE ANIMAL TRAINING ORGANIZATIONS.

The Association for Needy and Neglected Animals is a nonprofit, no-kill, open-admission animal welfare organization founded by Ruth Thompson in June 2004.

Our goal is to not only rescue animals from high kill shelters, but also to help reduce pet overpopulation and increase pet adoptions through campaigns, events, education, spay/neuter programs, and rescue partnerships. We believe that by developing strategic alliances with other nonprofits and rescue groups, we can make a greater impact on animal welfare and save more lives.

To provide lifetime refuge for abandoned, abused, and neglected “Big Cats" with emphasis on Tigers, Lions, Leopards, and Cougars.

To Improve knowledge as well as inform and educate the public about furbearer species To Stimulate public interest and appreciation of furbearers and natural resources, and the need and importance of restoring, using wisely and scientifically managing furbearers. To Promote improved environmental education and to coordinate and cooperate with other organizations, agencies and individuals with similar interests.
