Our mission is to serve the people of Jasper County by providing shelter and humane care to dogs and cats that are lost, abandoned, neglected or abused; placing adoptable dogs and cats in good homes with caring people; reducing the population of stray and neglected dogs and cats by promoting and providing spaying and neutering; and providing educational material and learning opportunities concerning the proper care and treatment of pets.

The mission of GHETC is to provide children, youth and adults with varying conditions quality programs designed to enhance their independence, personal potential and quality of life. Using the equine as its tool and its 20-acre facility as its classroom, Good Hope is committed to annually expanding program services to meet the educational, recreational and rehabilitative needs of South Florida's culturally diverse, disabled populations.

Our mission is to assist and reduce the population of homeless companion animals in Southern Ocean County, and to promote shelter pet adoptions through publicity and public relations. We are a rescue organization that not only assists the Manahawkin Shelter but we also rescue homeless cats & kittens. We are active with TNR and maintaining feral cat communities. Ocean Ecology Network is dedicated to marine research and conservation and to providing scientific and technical support to projects studying marine organisms and ecosystems around the world. Our current projects are focused on marine turtle conservation in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the South Pacific, and address a wide variety of issues ranging from nesting beach ecology to the impact of fisheries on marine turtle populations.

The goal of Retrieving Freedom is to place and match completely trained assistance dogs with a level of commitment to the recipients that is second to none! As strong as our desire is to train the best assistance dogs, it is also to be a part of their new connection with the people that need them.

Provide a sanctuary for injured, abused, neglected, and unwanted horses; provide emergency relief, refuge, medical care, rehabilitation and adoption services; provide education of proper horse ownership, responsibility, health and care of horses; provide a community connection to all.

We place dogs with veterans and first responders. Our focus is on training dogs to help alleviate symptoms of post traumatic stress and service connected challenges. We use rescues dogs whenever possible to help 2 lives at a time.

Avery Humane envisions a time when animal populations are limited and well managed and domestic animals in our communityhave loving homes, adequate shelter, food, housing  andmedical care. It is our mission to provide animal sheltering and adoption services, humane education, support services and resources to ensure the humane treatment of animals in Avery County.

Forever Home Feline Ranch is a nonprofit organization created to provide every cat in need a forever home. Forever Home Feline Ranch will be a sanctuary where cats will have a second change to live a full life in a no-cage, no-kill environment. Forever Home Feline Ranch will lead the effort to make Central Illinois a no-kill community by ending euthanasia as a method of controlling feline populations.

Faith-N-Friends is a non-profit 501(c) 3 horse rescue and sanctuary in Knoxville TN. A welcoming family environment that nurtures connections that leads to happy horses and healthier people. Helping Horses Help People! The mission of Faith N Friends is to rescue abused, abandoned, neglected, and/or slaughter-bound equines and rehabilitate and adopt them out into loving and forever homes, to provide free community education on proper horse care, and to offer equine-assisted therapy to children with physical and/or mental developmental disabilities. We foster connections between horses and people to transform lives!

VAST workshops and clinics are offered to communities that rarely see veterinary or animal husbandry services. We train local animal health workers in food animal care, disease prevention and treatment, and biosecurity. The goal is to recognise key diseases in livestock before they become fatal, as well as give locals the opportunity to have their animals health checked. A secondary goal is to deliver needed veterinary medicines and supplies to communities. Our next visit is to Haiti. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, with some of the highest infant mortality, illiteracy and infectious disease rates found globally. Since the earthquake in 2010, a cholera epidemic has also impacted the population, compromising their ability to rebuild. As more than 80% of the population survives on less than $2 US/day, farmers are unable to pay for proper animal care. Unfortunately for most rural Haitians, their family's wealth and security are tied up in the few animals they own.
