Haley Graves Foundation

The Haley Graves Foundation was founded in honor of Haley a beloved family pet. Haley went to the bridge in 2010. Someone once said, "all animals should be lucky enough to live a life like Haley" and we agree. Most of the animals finding their way to The Haley Graves Foundation have been on the code red list in shelters due to medical issues. Others are family pets needing assistance to prevent them from becoming a shelter statistic.

Animals
Grand Strand Humane Society

The Grand Strand Humane Society (GSHS) takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control. We are committed to the care and humane treatment of all homeless and abandoned animals in the Myrtle Beach Metropolitan Area. When we made the decision to step out of the cookie-cutter style of shelters and stop euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals for space, it was the right decision and we felt the only option for the GSHS. The decision did increase our financial struggle, but we will continue finding every healthy, adoptable animal a forever family as long as it is financially feasible. We are further committed to providing excellent guest service to people visiting our facilities in the hope that all our animals can find caring and loving homes. We also work at educating our community about responsible pet ownership and finally, to investigate and attempt to prevent cruelty to all animals. We strive to provide all communities within our area with cost-effective adoption rates as well as spay/neutering and preventative healthcare services.

IPAW's mission is to also assist other rescues by creating awareness to the plight of animal homelessness and sharing other adoptable dogs and cats. It takes a team effort to help save each precious life!
