Animal Friends of Connecticut (AFOC) is a non-profit, mostly volunteer, animal protection organization, located in central Connecticut and dedicated to animal rescue. We rescue stray, abandoned, surrendered, abused, and handicapped cats and kittens. The animals are given medical care and vaccinations, are spayed or neutered (when appropriate) , then cared for at our no-kill shelter until they are adopted into a loving forever home.

House of Mews Rescue is an all-volunteer, cage-free, foster based, non-profit 501c 3 organization dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned stray cats and kittens in Northeast Ohio.\n\nTo prepare our fosters for their forever homes, we nurture and socialize them in safe, loving environments. Provide time to heal along with needed medical services if necessary. \n\nHouse of Mews solely depends upon donations and fundraisers for our income. Your donations allows us to rescue abandoned, abused, and neglected cats and kittens that have lost their way.\n\nDonations help us provide basic needs such as food, water, and shelter, but it will also give us the resources to rehabilitate injured and abused cats and kittens and allow us to control the population by spaying and neutering our rescues.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
