An international tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Purple Martin (Progne subis) species of bird through scientific research, state-of-the-art wildlife management techniques, and public education. The PMCA's scientific staff conducts research on all aspects of martin biology throughout the bird's North, South, and Middle American breeding, wintering, and migratory ranges. The organization functions as a centralized data-gathering and information source on the species, serving both the scientist and the martin enthusiast. Its major mission is educating martin enthusiasts in the proper techniques for managing this human-dependent species.

Our mission is to rescue, medically treat, emotionally restore and permanently place in loving forever homes; homeless and needy pug dogs in the Houston and surrounding areas.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets. Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls homeless dogs and cats from shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found.  We promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation and encourage quality relationships between pets and their people through behavior resources and training.

Our mission is to assist in the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.

Friends of the Sea Otter is committed to and advocates for the conservation of sea otters and the preservation of their habitat through education, research, and policy decisions that will ensure the long-term survival of this species and the health of the marine coastal environment.

Canine Partners of the Rockies' mission is to positively impact the lives of Colorado residents with disabilities by placing highly skilled service dogs with individuals who have mobility limiting conditions and facility dogs with professionals who provide therapeutic services to people with disabilities. CaPR also is dedicated to educating the public about the role assistance dogs play in the lives of people with disabilities.

The Brittany Foundation Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1994 to rescue, rehabilitate, care for and find homes for homeless dogs, including dogs from animal shelters, puppy mills, strays, and victims of foreclosures and hospice situations. Dogs remain at the Sanctuary until they find a home, no matter how long it takes.

The Pacific Marine Mammal Center inspires ocean stewardship through animal rescue and rehabilitation, medical research, STEM education programs and advocacy for a healthy ocean.
