Pit Bulls for Life takes pride in knowing that all dogs adopted have absolutely NO human aggression and have little to no animal aggression. All dogs and potential adopters are carefully screened to ensure dogs are placed in their forever home.  The foundation is completely volunteer-based and relies heavily on foster homes and donations. As we do not have a shelter for our rescued pit bulls we are limited to the number of dogs we are able to take in at any one time. PangolinConservation.org is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization (under its parent organization, Zoological Conservation) that is dedicated to promoting the conservation, education, and research of the world’s most fascinating mammals! Why is this important? Pangolins are declining at an alarming rate due to the illegal trade to supply Asian traditional medicine. The four Asian pangolin species have been reduced to critical numbers. With Asian species becoming increasingly rare, smugglers are now turning towards Africa to supply demand. The four African species populations are believed to be decreasing due to illegal trade and habitat destruction. If the illegal trade continues to expand in Africa, they’ll be in the same position as their Asian cousins. We’re working with African pangolins BEFORE their populations crash.

Our purpose is to raise funds to expand animal care services at the Iowa City Animal Care & Adoption Center. We seek health, comfort, freedom from fear, and a loving guardian for our companion animals

They provide safe sanctuary for horses, donkeys and other equines that have been victims of neglect or abuse and equines that are unwanted or on the verge of being sold for slaughter.

Their Mission: • Dedication to rescuing slaughter-bound abused and neglected horses by providing rehabilitation and sanctuary to equines in suffering. • Educate and embrace the humane treatment of horses by offering adults, families and caregivers the opportunity to develop and nurture relationships through activities with horses.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. We serve this mission by supporting Ventura County Animal Services in their life saving efforts.
