Detroit Bully Corps

The foundation of our program is education. Without education on spay/neuter, breed specific legislation (BSL), training, breed specific workshops, the dog fighting culture and responsible ownership, the epidemic will never end. Rescue is a mere bandage in the overall scale of the canine epidemic. Shelters are overrun, rescues are overflowing and society is in need of education. For every one spot we fill in our program, we turn away 50. We average 20-25 canines at any given time and 90% of our rescue population is comprised of the American Pit Bull Terrier. We work with canines from any and every background, whether it be a surrendered family pet, bait dog, seasoned fighter or the abused. We are a no-kill rescue/rehabilitation in that we will never euthanize for space. We, as a moral, ethical and objective organization, will NOT adopt out a canine that is a threat to society. We are advocates of the American Pit Bull Terrier, as such we will not add to the epidemic by being irresponsible.

Farmers And Hunters Feeding The Hungry

FHFH feeds the hungry by transforming donated deer, elk and livestock into nutritious meat for food banks and feeding ministries. Nutritious red meat is the most-needed item at food banks and feeding ministries nationwide. FHFH pays to have deer and other big-game donated by hunters processed, packaged and frozen by approved, participating meat cutters. The meat, which is high in protein and low in fat, is distributed free of charge to the food banks and feeding ministries that serve the poor nationwide. FHFH exists to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by feeding the hungry. In the Bible, Isaiah the prophet and Jesus himself lift up feeding the hungry as one of the traits of those who have given their hearts to the Lord.

Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland, Inc., or Beagle MarylandTM, is a nonprofit organization founded in April 2001 and dedicated to saving beagles and placing them in loving homes. Our beagles come in as strays, from shelters, and as owner surrenders. Some come into rescue needing only current vaccinations, regular meals, and love; others may need extensive vetting, nutritional support, or even lifesaving surgery before they are ready to be offered for adoption. We do all we can to help every beagle in need who crosses our path.

Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary

Imagine a place where old, sick, abused, abandoned & unwanted dogs all came together, to rest, to live, to play & snuggle. Where meals come morning & night, classical music is always playing and love overflows. The only choice they have to make is which couch or dog bed to lay on & which visitor to pick to smother with kisses. Just a place for dogs to be. To wait in the comforts of a home until they can find a family of their own who won’t throw them away when they are old or sick or even dying. To know they are loved for who they are, at this moment, & then to love us in return regardless of their past. To be the model of forgiveness & in return teach us to be better, kinder humans & to always know that even if in a small way we can always make a difference. This is our little red barn.
