The Humane Society for Greater Savannah envisions a community that understands, values and promotes the ways in which pets enrich our lives. Its mission is to better the lives of pets and people. The organization offers a range of programs/services, including: dog and cat adoptions, pet surrender services, low-cost spay/neuter, vaccine clinics, Nuzzle Buddies, Foster Program and a Volunteer Program.

The Culpeper County Humane Society is an all‑volunteer, home‑foster based 501(c)(3) animal rescue that provides medical care, temporary foster care, and placement for dogs and cats in Culpeper County. It runs low‑cost spay/neuter and community support programs (including a pet pantry and chaining‑rescue efforts) to reduce shelter intake and save animals at risk of euthanasia.

Mission:  To instill respect, kindness, and compassion for animals as community values.\r\n\r\nPurpose:  To prevent cruelty to animals, to promote animal welfare, to educate the public about the humane care and treatment of animals, to increase public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue and to provide solutions, and to provide high quality shelter, medical, and adoption services for animals when necessary.

To improve the quality of life for Fresno County's animals by providing a full range of progressive animal control services paired with humane animal care to save as many lives as possible. Our focus is on education, animal reunification, and adoption, as well as community safety. We protect the public, educate and assist our community's pet owners, and work towards making Fresno County a no-kill community.

At the Cochrane Humane Society we care for lost, abandoned, injured and surrendered animals. The Society staff and volunteers strive to find loving homes for all of the animals that come into our care. We offer resources to adopters to try and make each adoption a permanent, successful one. Each year we hold several annual, community events to raise funds for the Society and provide family activities for our community.

Our Mission is to protect animals. Our mission is carried out through direct care for animals that are injured, abused, unwanted, or abandoned, securing homes for as many as possible; and through community assistance programs including spay/neuter services and pet food distribution as well as providing humane education and pet safety information to our community in order to reduce pet overpopulation and improve the quality of life for animals.

Roice-Hurst Humane Society works to promote and preserve the bond between pets and people in western Colorado by sheltering and rehoming dogs and cats and offering community support services (pet pantry, low-cost clinics, spay/neuter help, behavior support, crisis boarding, and programs to keep pets with their families). Their focus is both placing animals in loving homes and preventing unnecessary surrenders through social-support programs.

The Humane Society of Central Texas provides adoption, rescue and foster opportunities for the homeless animals at the Waco Animal Shelter in Waco, Texas. We are the only regional, open-admission animal shelter in the area. Thanks to our community and supporters, even with an annual intake of 6,000 animals, we have attained No Kill Status, meaning that at least 90% of animals that come into the shelter leave here alive for wonderful new homes!

We are a Humane Society and Rescue organization serving Stephens County, Oklahoma and it's communities. We work closely with local municipal animal control departments in providing shelter to abandoned, abused, and surrendered animals, and finding homes for as many adoptable pets as we possibly can. We stress spaying and neutering as the one key way to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens. Overpopulation will only be eased through effective spay and neuter practices.
