For over 30 years, Best Friends Animal Society has been running the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals and building effective programs that reduce the number of animals entering shelters. The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. The organization does this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the United States.

Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform more than 52 million households by working in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. It begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders. Committed to the stated mission that "we turn no animal away," SPCA Cincinnati has become a nationally recognized leader in progressive programming and service delivery. An added focus of our organization is the continuing education provided to assist the public in managing their companion animals.

The mission of The Chick With Pits is to provide a no-kill safe-haven for dogs, cats, and other animals until each one is adopted into a loving home that recognizes them as an equal member of their family and to provide sanctuary for pets who are not adoptable.

Healing with Horseplay is an animal protection and welfare organization that rescues animals, primarily horses, that are abused, neglected or to be sent to slaughter and then rehabilitates them. After training them they will be sold to private owners with happy homes for the animals and then will use the proceeds to start the cycle over with new animals, or they will become part of the equine-assisted learning programs.
