They also practice a no-kill policy They also wish to provide a full service shelter which includes rescue and shelter, Humane Society Police Officer Services, low cost veterinary services for the community, and volunteer opportunities. Their low cost veterinary services include a Walk in Clinic twice weekly, surgery 7 days a week and scheduled appointments. Equipment includes an X-Ray, Laser Machine, Blood work Machine, and a full pharmacy. This is all available to the general public who cannot afford private veterinarians. It also enables them to provide all of the care needed for the animals.

Humane Society of Dallas County, founded in 1975, ministers to the indigent animal population, promotes responsible pet ownership, seeks to ensure humane treatment of all animals, and to improve their quality of life. We deal primarily with the homeless animals of Dallas, and strive to be an integral part of a great city where ALL life is valued and cared for. Our shelter, Dog & Kitty City, was the first no-kill shelter in Dallas. We are dedicated to educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering in hopes of becoming a "no kill" city.
The mission of Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, rehabilitate, provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, and find loving homes for Central Arkansas dogs and cats in need.

FRIENDS OF MICHIGAN ANIMALS RESCUE'S MISSION IS TO PROTECT ANIMALS AND RESIDENTS BY PROMOTING A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL.
Thousands of animals in our community are put to death each year due to overpopulation. Solano County Friends of Animals (SCFOA) is a group of animal loving volunteers who are dedicated to reducing the population of unwanted and abandoned pets in Solano County by providing an adoption service for homeless pets and by actively working to provide low cost spay/neuter options and reduce the number of feral cats in Solano County through Trap/Neuter/Return. SCFOA is a no-kill group. Any pet fostered by SCFOA is kept until a suitable home can be found. Unfortunately, we don't have the facilities to house all the unwanted pets, however, placement services are available. Adoption Events are held every Saturday and Sunday at three different venues in Solano County. We are a registered non-profit organization with the state of California; all donations are tax deductible. 100% of cash contributions go directly to helping the animals.

A commitment to provide obedience training, where necessary, behavior management, where necessary, and assessment and evaluation of adoptability of any animal in its care. A commitment to provide follow-up services and advice to adoptive families, should those families so request.
