The mission of Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) is to shelter and care for abandoned companion animals, find them newhomes, and to prevent animal cruelty through education and community programs.

Scruffy Tails Humane Society, formerly Humane Society of Polk County in Crookston, MN was founded as a 501c(3) in January 1982 by passionate animal advocates, with the desire to help the animals in their community. Over the past 40 years this shelter has worked hard to help animals that have come into our care by reuniting lost pets with their owners and finding a forever home for pets deserving of a loving environment and a safe place to call home. We could not have done this without the dedication of our staff, volunteers and donors.

The Friends of the Arizona Historical Society (AHS) support the mission of the Arizona Historical Society, Connecting people through the power of Arizona’s history. As the main fundraising partner of the agency, Friends of AHS work statewide to help the organization achieve its strategic plan and goals.

The objectives of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada are to: Increase primate habitat conservation; Increase awareness of, support for and training in issues related to our relationship with each other, the environment and other animals (leading to behaviour change); Expand non-invasive research programs on chimpanzees and other primates; Promote activities that ensure the well-being of chimpanzees, other primates and animal welfare activities in general.

Friends of the Shelton Animal Shelter is a local nonprofit that raises funds and resources to support the city’s animal shelter—helping pay for medical care, supplies and programs, promoting adoptions, and supporting humane-education and volunteer efforts in Shelton.

Wings of the Dawn is a volunteer-run wildlife rehabilitation and bird sanctuary that rescues injured and orphaned birds and small mammals, provides professional and humane medical and rehabilitative care, and aims to release healthy animals back into their natural habitat. The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons actively rescues cats and dogs, provides quality care and offers sanctuary until loving homes can be found. ARF’s work with animals, within our community and throughout the organization is guided by three core values: compassion, integrity and dedication.

Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter (FAAS) promotes and provides for the welfare, care and health of animals. Through its leadership it will support the efforts of like-minded, community-based programs; educate the community on the care of animals.

The mission of Shelter from the Storm Animal Rescue is to reduce the euthanasia rate of healthy and adoptable animals and improve the lives of companion pets.

Friends of the Pflugerville Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) group that raises funds and coordinates volunteers to support Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services. They focus on medical care, supplies, enrichment, and adoption support to improve outcomes for sheltered animals and reduce unnecessary euthanasia.
