Dalmatian Rescue Of Tampa Bay

Dalmatian Rescue of Tampa Bay rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes as many Dalmatians and Dalmatian-mixes in Florida shelters as possible that need our help. Our first and main priority is to take the Dalmatians and Dalmatian-mixes who are facing euthanasia at high-kill facilities. If resources permit, we also help Dalmatians in surrounding states. We provide care-for-life foster homes and a sanctuary for Dalmatians who cannot find a home due to their advanced age and/or medical conditions. We thoroughly screen prospective owners with home and veterinary reference checks before placing any Dalmatian into a new home. We do post adoption follow-ups either by calls or visits to insure that the adoption requirements are fulfilled. We provide ongoing assistance and support to all adopters of our Dalmatians. All dogs are spayed or neutered and given any medical treatment needed to ensure they are healthy before being placed. We strive to educate the public about rescue and adoption by attending numerous events throughout the year.

Poodle Rescue Of New England

Poodle Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless Poodles within the six New England states. Millions of companion animals-many purebred-are euthanized each year, and at least half are adoptable. Many of our dogs are former impulse purchases by owners who didn?t consider the ten to fifteen year commitment of owning a Poodle. Some were abandoned or mistreated. Poodles are referred to us through our hotline and from area dog officers, veterinarians, shelters, other rescue groups and our network of volunteers. Each dog is evaluated for behavior and temperament and receives a comprehensive medical exam and all necessary treatment. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are cared for by our dedicated foster care volunteers in their homes throughout New England. Our Poodles are carefully matched to the new family?s home environment and lifestyle. Our goal is to place the right Poodle in the right home.
