Life is Better Rescue is committed to helping the shelter pet population find forever families and new beginnings, and nothing about that has changed in these current times. For those who aren't aware, Denver Animal Shelter (among others) has had to shut its doors to adoptions.

Rescue and Adoption Program. They are dedicated to finding forever homes for displaced or abandoned dogs and cats and educating the public about pet over population and the benefits of spaying and neutering. Paw Prints accepts into its Rescue and Adoption Program stray cats, kittens, dogs and puppies from the general public as foster space permits.
Our mission is to protect and serve animals during their greatest time of need, assist our community pets and their people, and offer homeless pets a second chance at a first-rate life. By providing humane education along with free or low-cost resources, we hope to reduce the homeless pet population in our area.
To provide leadership in the implementation of public policy concerning animal issues, and to participate in the humane management of the area's increasing animal population. We will also provide educational programs to assist residents in caring for and enjoying their pets and will work to improve public awareness of companion animals' ability to enhance the quality of life in our community.
Bear mortality related to human conflicts is perhaps the largest single factor affecting long-term population viability. As human populations continue to extend into bear habitat throughout North America, either through residential development, recreational use or industrial use, bear human conflicts increase. Our organization aims to reduce human caused bear mortality and incidents of human-bear conflict. This is achieved through specialized training courses and innovative applied research. We are involved in a variety of initiatives that focus on reducing people’s interactions with bears while living, working and recreating in bear country. Mission: The Humane Society of Warren County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to abandoned, abused, homeless and neglected animals in our community.
