We help ferrets in poor living conditions sick, starvation, abuse and/or neglected We have placed lost/dumped, unwanted ferret in loving forever homes. Transport is arranged for ferrets to get to a shelter/rescue or to their new homes. We work with several shelters and rescues thru out the US to help the ferrets be placed in a safe environment, get the medical attention and rehabilitation needed for adoption. Foster care has been provided for ferrets that need to be placed in temporary foster. FDUSA has helped over 100+ ferrets. Our rescue is nation wide, with members who volunteer their time.

Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) is a non-profit organization that has been supporting animals in need of new, loving homes in Jackson County, Oregon with volunteers and financial assistance for more than 30 years. Our mission is to increase pet adoption, improve the quality of life for Shelter and other rescued animals, promote and pay for spay/neuter, and participate in outreach and educational activities regarding responsible pet guardianship and animal welfare.

THE NATURE TRUST OF BC

The Nature Trust of British Columbia is a leading land conservation organization based in BC. We acquire ecologically significant land through purchase, donation, covenant and lease. Then we care for this land in order to protect the natural diversity of wildlife and plants, and their critical habitats. Since 1971, The Nature Trust along with our partners has invested more than $70 million to secure over 69,000 hectares (170,000 acres) of land. This includes over 23,000 hectares (56,000 acres) that is owned, leased or covenanted and over 46,000 hectares (113,000 acres) that is under grazing licenses for our Biodiversity Ranches in the Okanagan.

THE DONKEY SANCTUARY OF CANADA

The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada provides a lifelong home to donkeys and mules that have been neglected or abused, or that can no longer be cared for by their owners. The DSC provides a program in animal welfare education to school and community groups. In addition, the DSC has developed a Foster Farm Program wherein animals are placed in pairs on permanent loan at suitable farms. The Sanctuary Farm is open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays, 10-4, May through October.
