The Humane Society of McCormick County is a no-kill animal rescue. We pick up homeless cats and dogs in McCormick County and help them find loving homes. We offer low-cost spay and neuter to any cat or dog in the County. We are 100% funded by donations, grants and money raised through fundraising activities. All money raised goes to helping animals because we are all volunteers. The county does not have a city or county-run shelter. It also does not have a veterinarian practicing in the county. We are all our county has for help with homeless cats and dogs.

The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach exists to provide care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to promote compassion and positive relationships between people and animals.

"Friends of Livingston County Animal Shelter is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization founded by several of the shelter’s regular volunteers in May of 2013. We saw a need to organize regular fundraising, education and adoption events for the shelter. And the best way to do that was through a "Friends” group."

Friends of the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is dedicated to promoting adoption, improving the lives of Cuyahoga County’s dogs and their owners, and creating a welcoming environment at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter for members of the community.

Non-profit organization that supports the efforts of the Pitt County Animal Shelter. We foster animals that would otherwise be euthanized. Through Petfinder, our website and Petsmart adoption events, we find permanent homes for the dogs, cats and rabbits in our program. We have been supporting the animals of Pitt County for over 8 years and hope to continue for many more.

HOME FOR LIFE IS A LONG-TERM ANIMAL SANCTUARY PROVIDING ANIMALS WITH LOVING CARE, A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT THAT IS SAFE AND STABLE, A PLACE TO BELONG, A HOME FOR LIFE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES LIFETIME CARE FOR CATS AND DOGS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS WHO CANNOT FIND A HOME, BUT WHO CAN STILL LEAD A QUALITY LIFE.

FLEAS shall raise funds to provide resources that improve the level of care provided to the animals beyond basic necessities. Those include training programs to ready dogs for successful adoptions, a medical fund, and an onsite volunteer program to support the staff and provide socialization for the animals. FLEAS will also form community partnerships with rescue groups and local businesses with the purpose of getting more animals into foster programs and out of the shelter and raising funds and getting donations for the shelter animals as well as local food banks. We will also work to set up programs to support responsible pet ownership that will include spay/neuter programs, low cost or free vaccinations and microchips, and training programs.

Each year hundreds of healthy companion animals are “euthanized” at local Humane Societies, primarily due to a lack of funding and cages. The Animal Assistance Society believes that euthanizing healthy animals is neither a humane nor an effective form of controlling unwanted/abandoned animal populations. Alternatively, we hold that spay/neuter programs and encouragement of pet guardians to employ an indoor lifestyle for their cat, is the answer. The Animal Assistance Society has a “no kill” policy and helps to effectively reduce the burden on local Humane Societies through our Foster, PetSmart Adoption and Spay/Neuter iniatives.

Paws In The Panhandle rescues animals from local shelters, cares for and medically prepares them (spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping), and places them into permanent homes while operating an adoptive-friendly, no‑kill shelter and related community programs.

CORE VALUES As the voice of anglers and hunters, the OFAH will professionally represent Ontario’s anglers and hunters, their hunting and fishing rights and traditions, and their passion for hunting and fishing, and for fish and wildlife conservation. The OFAH supports, and will seek to enhance, Ontario’s rich traditions of hunting and fishing, and the quality of life they represent. The OFAH will promote, encourage, and seek to ensure the conservation of Ontario’s fish and wildlife, their habitats, and the ecosystems that support them, to ensure continuing benefits to anglers and hunters, and by extension, to all of the people in Ontario. The OFAH will encourage, conduct and lead proactive fish and wildlife management, individually and in cooperation with others, to ensure the conservation of resources, the protection and enhancement of our hunting and fishing heritage, and the provision of benefits to meet the needs of Ontarians.
