To promote and provide for the humane treatment of companion animals in the greater Green Valley/Sahuarita Area. The League accepts as many unwanted or abandoned animals as its space permits, with the goal to finding each pet its forever home.

Heart of Texas Lab Rescue, Inc. was founded in 1998 and services the state of Texas, concentrating mostly in Central Texas. The purpose of HOTLR is to rescue pure-bred Labrador Retrievers from situations which endanger the well-being or welfare of the dogs and place these rescued Labs in loving homes. In an effort to limit the number of abandoned and unwanted dogs, HOTLR also attempts to educate the public to obtain a better awareness and appreciation of this particular breed and in becoming responsible pet owners, no matter what type of pet they own.

To find good homes for animals in our custody; rescue sick, injured, and abandoned animals when possible; seek to return lost animals to their owners; Investigate reports of mistreated animals and confiscate through legal means those animals it cannot help otherwise; encourage local and state law enforcement agencies to prosecute those who commit crimes against animals; teach the principles of kindness and humane care to all animals; vigorously promote animal birth control through every means possible; provide euthanasia when necessary

Assist all greyhounds. Place greyhounds in loving, responsible, forever homes. Educate the public about the desirability of adopting greyhounds as family pets. Stress the importance of spay and neuter. Support, welcome & encourage an active, organized volunteer base of greyhound lovers who share the passion of finding loving, responsible, forever homes for them. Provide continuing educational support to the greyhound's family to ensure a successful adoption. Connect with other groups & people to promote greyhound adoption worldwide. Endeavor to also assist greyhound mixes, other large sighthounds & large sighthound mixes; and enjoy the spiritual connection we all share in loving & helping one of the most loving and loyal creatures on this earth.

Rescuing Boston Terriers regardless of age, health or adoptability. At Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida, it is our vision to become the most trusted rescue in the Southeast by providing a safe haven, comfort, love, and healthcare to all Boston Terriers in our rescue.

MISSION:  To enhance the quality of life for the dogs, cats, birds and other companion animals in the care of Lafayette Animal Control Center (LACC) and other animal shelters andwelfare agencies in the greater Lafayette area, to end euthanasia as the primary means of population control, and to reduce the number of homeless animals at LACC.

The Humane Society of Charles County started in 1978 with the single objective to rescue dogs and cats hit by cars. Our services have greatly expanded over the years and we now offer shelter and care for homeless, injured and neglected animals, as well as adoption services, fostering, community partnerships, humane education, no-to-low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine services, and affordable well-pet veterinary services. Our vision is to create a community where animals are cherished and no longer need us for protection and shelter.
