Friends of the Clark County Animal Shelter, Inc. (FOCCAS) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that is committed to funding the purchase and maintenance of a van to transport animals facing euthanasia at our local shelter to approved rescues in areas where successful spay and neuter programs have reduced the number of animals available for adoption. Additionally FOCCAS provides financial support for low cost and free spay and neuter services to Clark County residents.

Our mission is to protect and improve the lives of stray, lost and unwanted dogs by offering a safe, welcoming facility, providing care and enrichment, and finding a home best suited for each animal.

The Jefferson SPCA supports Jefferson Parish animal welfare by partnering with the parish animal control services, operating low-cost and no-cost spay/neuter programs, and helping find homes and medical care for homeless pets. It focuses on reducing pet overpopulation and supporting local shelter operations.

The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, founded in 1995, is the nation’s largest natural-habitat refuge developed specifically for endangered elephants. It operates on 2,700 acres in Hohenwald, TN – 85 miles southwest of Nashville. The Sanctuary exists for two reasons: • Provide captive elephants with individualized care, the companionship of a herd, and the opportunity to live out their lives in a safe haven dedicated to their wellbeing. • Raise public awareness of the complex needs of elephants in captivity, and the crisis facing elephants in the wild.

As one of Africa’s oldest wildlife charities and a leading conservation organisation, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT) embraces all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife.

The mission of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - Angell Animal Medical Center is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.
