The Briard Rescue Trust was established in 2005 by the Briard Club of America, to further the Club’s mission regarding Rescue and Education. Their key goals include rescue support and prevention through education. The Trustees do not engage in hands-on rescue, however, they network with numerous experienced rescuers throughout the USA. New Life Boxer Rescue is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the lives of Boxers who are at risk of being neglected, abused or forced to find new homes for reasons not in their control. As part of our goal of preventing cruelty to animals, the mission of New Life Boxer Rescue is to provide a safe and loving environment in foster care while we seek a new and permanent home for these Boxers. We believe the only solution to the pet overpopulation is education. Education on the importance of spay and neutering and the importance of yearly vaccinations and heartworm prevention.

THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN COCKER RESCUE'S MISSION IS TO: * rescue abandoned, stray, endangered and neglected Cocker Spaniels in Colorado and neighboring states, * partner with animal control and shelters to rescue unwanted Cocker Spaniels, * rehabilitate those who have been abused or neglected, * evaluate the dog’s behavior to better understand what it needs to thrive and succeed, * assist owners in finding new homes as an alternative to placing their cocker in a shelter, * promote the importance of spaying/neutering companion animals, and * educate the public on how to prevent animal cruelty and support the closing of puppy mills.

Hana Fund

The HANA (Help-A-Needy-Animal) fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit fund whose mission is to prevent “economic euthanasia" in pets. “Economic euthanasia" is the sad reality that pets are euthanized not due to a poor prognosis or an inability to cure disease, but are euthanized because the cost of treating the disease is insurmountable. Funds go to provide life-saving surgeries and treatments for curable diseases in pets where no or limited funds are available. There is a lot of need out there in the animal world and this fund is here to make our little corner of the world better for our local animals and animal lovers.

I Stand With My Pack

I Stand With My Pack is a non-profit organization providing global assistance to save the lives of animals and prevent suffering and cruelty. ISWMP’s domestic efforts focus on the successful removal of dogs from LA city and county as well as other parts of California high risk kill shelters, assisting them through the rehabilitative process and successfully placing them in their forever homes. ISWMP has also created an international platform increasing awareness through education, hands-on field work, disaster relief, fundraising, non-violent protest, and legal action.

​As an organization, Pets In Need In Southern Maryland will: Help relieve the suffering of and prevent cruelty to dogs identified as pit bulls and mixes by providing public education and awareness. Help reduce the number of homeless pit bulls and mixes with information to the public regarding spay or neuter grants. Facilitate the rescue and placement of homeless dogs identified primarily as pit bulls and mixes thereof, into responsible homes. ​ Participate in fundraising in order to provide caretakers of pit bulls and mixes thereof, with the means to: - spay or neuter - access quality and accurate educational information - access to resources targeting responsible rescue and placements - access to vaccination clinics.

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. They are a 501(c)(3), non-profit, charitable, all-volunteer organization dedicated to: - Educating people on the proper care of birds. This includes the specific physical and psychological needs of each bird. - Rescuing companion parrots from various situations such as harmful, unwanted, injured or found and rehabilitating them when necessary. - Rescuing companion parrots when circumstances arise that prevent a bird owner from continuing to care for their pet bird. -Carefully screening applicants to ensure these birds are placed into qualified loving homes. Adoption is the ultimate goal of Jojo the Grey Adoption and Rescue program. They do not breed, buy, or sell parrots.

Established in 2010, The Animal Recovery Mission (ARM) is a vanguard not-for-profit organization, dedicated to eliminating extreme animal cruelty operations worldwide. Our mission is to be an uncompromising defending force for the welfare of animals, in addition to putting an end to and preventing pain, suffering and torture inflicted as a result of inhumane practices. ARM implements direct-action tactics to investigate, document and expose illegal activities of animal cruelty. The organization’s main goals are to improve the quality of life for animals and educate the public. The end result will raise awareness of the unforeseen ethical, social and environmental implications of animal abuse and produce effective changes in the treatment of defenseless animals.

Humane Society Serving Crawford County & Its Municipalities

The Humane Society Serving Crawford County (the “Society”), is a non-profit organization whose function and goal is to improve animal welfare, provide protection for all animals, and educate the community about animals and their basic needs. The Society is an organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty and neglect to the animals of Crawford County and to help curb the over population of dogs and cats through education and action. Our organization is the only facility in Crawford County that provides services for the community and their pets. We provide programing for schools, nursing homes, civic organizations, law enforcement, and other non-profit groups. Our outreach programs have supplied pet food and supplies to our community and surrounding areas.

Tri Cities Friends Of Kitties

Tri-Cities Friends of Kitties works to locate, watch over and care for the many homeless, stray and feral cats living in our neighborhoods in Fulton County, Georgia. We monitor the colonies for well-being and provide shelter and food for them; obtain veterinary care for injured animals in the colonies; trap, neuter/spay and return cats to prevent reproduction and growth of the community; help neighbors who wish to care for stray, homeless or feral cats in their immediate neighborhoods; educate others on the treatment of stray, homeless or feral cats and place cats and kittens that we have trapped who are human-friendly with persons providing safe homes for them.
