Topreserve rare animals and species threatened with extinction. Prominently featured in the collection are animals from the Land of Israel, with special emphasis on those species mentioned in the Bible. To develop and conduct educational activities and outreach programs that will cultivate and nurture the values of nature conservation and wildlife protection among the general public; to enhance public awareness of environmental issues and encourage a love of animals. To create a rich and diversified recreational atmosphere in beautiful surroundings, which subtly promote an appreciation of nature and of the environment. To develop distinct programs and create opportunities for groups with special needs, so that they can be involved in animal care, grounds-keeping, and other useful activities throughout the zoo grounds. To make the zoo a unique and attractive tourist site, whose uniqueness derives partly from its collection of Biblical animals.
As an organization, Pets In Need In Southern Maryland will: Help relieve the suffering of and prevent cruelty to dogs identified as pit bulls and mixes by providing public education and awareness. Help reduce the number of homeless pit bulls and mixes with information to the public regarding spay or neuter grants. Facilitate the rescue and placement of homeless dogs identified primarily as pit bulls and mixes thereof, into responsible homes. Participate in fundraising in order to provide caretakers of pit bulls and mixes thereof, with the means to: - spay or neuter - access quality and accurate educational information - access to resources targeting responsible rescue and placements - access to vaccination clinics.

Pooches In Pines is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) that works with the Pembroke Pines Police Department to reunite lost dogs with their owners. When owners can’t be located, the group provides veterinary care, training, temporary shelter or foster placement, and works to find permanent adoptive homes.
Whiskers In Need is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) that rescues, cares for, and places cats and kittens—especially shy, under‑socialized, special‑needs, or medically challenged animals—into foster homes and adoption venues. They support partner shelters (notably Adams County Pet Rescue) and cover medical and foster-related expenses through donations to prepare animals for forever homes.
