Animal Samaritans was founded in 1978 by local animal lovers determined to end the suffering, abuse and unnecessary death of local shelter animals and educate the pet owners of tomorrow on responsible pet ownership. After more than four decades of service, Animal Samaritans has grown to become the desert’s largest, most-comprehensive animal welfare organization by adopting out more than 15,000 homeless dogs and cats, rescuing more than 14,000 adoptable, at-risk shelter animals, and spaying and neutering more than 200,000 pets. We’ve educated more than 250,000 school children on kindness to animals and responsible pet ownership, and made tens of thousands of pet therapy visits to people in need. Animal Samaritans views all living creatures with compassion and respect, with a primary focus on dogs, cats, and the people who love them.

The Monkey Tail Ranch mission is very simple. Orphan Kitten Club is on a mission to end the killing of neonatal kittens–and to give every kitten a chance at a full life. We are building a safer world for the tiniest felines by rescuing individual orphans in need, providing hands-on care to save their lives, and preparing them for adoption into loving homes.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is comprised of passionate individuals, dedicated to saving the lives of the second most euthanized dog breed in Texas. We strive to educate our community, assist our shelters, and continue to grow our organization. TXCR is here to help small dogs live big dreams

To provide innovative therapeutic programs and resources for children with special needs and their families

Since 1960, the Humane Society of Utah (HSU) has been dedicated to the elimination of pain, fear and suffering in all animals. HSU shelters abandoned animals, fights cruelty and neglect, and creates an environment of respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals. HSU is an open-admissions shelter, meaning that our doors are always open for any animal that we can legally accept. We work hard to ensure that every healthy and treatable pet that enters our facility will be placed into a loving home. HSU achieved and has maintained "no-kill" standards (a 90% placement rate for dogs and cats) since 2015, and we save the lives of over 11,000 animals every year. Our in-house Clinic is also committed to controlling the pet population by spay/neutering 11,000+ dogs and cats each year.

BARK PROVIDES FRIENDLY THERAPY DOGS TO SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES SO THAT CHILDREN CAN LEARN TO ENJOY READING IN A FUN, NONJUDGMENTAL ATMOSPHERE. WE ALSO TEACH KIDS HOW TO CARE FOR THEIR PETS.BARK DOGS BRING JOY TO DISABLES ADULTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS, VETERANS, SENIOR CENTERS, NURSING HOMES AND HOSPITALS.
