Our Mission: To make a measurable difference by bringing the worlds of at risk equines and at risk individuals together through equine facilitated learning and coaching. We are a rescue in the sense that we fundraise to rescue horses in at risk situations. Where we are different is we partner with approved partner rescues. These partner rescues take in, rehab, train, and place majority of these deserving horses into forever homes. We do not adopt horses out at this time.The wonderful horses that make up our herd make up a slightly different demographic. Some have physical limitations and are not available for adoption and will live out a safe, loving life with us. Some have been so severely abused by humans that it would not be safe to put them up for adoption, they too will spend their lives with us, safe and being loved. Then the remainder of the sweet souls that make up our herd are under evaluation to become equine coaching partners and help transform lives. We are passionate about raising awareness and shedding light on the gifts that the horses have to give, beyond just being ridden.Our vision is to continue to build our coaching platform, in partnership with other non profits that represent at risk demographics such that we can create specific programs for their needs - from at risk youth, addiction, abuse, sex trafficking survivors, divorce and the list goes on. We also have a for profit division which continues to benefit the horses which focuses on Equine Partnered Trans-formative Coaching, and helping people get on their path to their purpose.

THE PURPOSE OF HOPEFUL TAILS ANIMAL RESCUE IS TO: (A) RESCUE DOGS IN DANGER OF BEING EUTHANIZED AT HIGH KILL SHELTERS, (B) TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DOGS THAT ARE SURRENDERED BY OWNERS THAT CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM, (C) PROVIDE NECESSARY VETERINARY CARE WITH THE INCLUSION OF A SPAY OR NEUTER, (D) PROVIDE LOVING TEMPORARY CARE AT HOPEFUL TAILS AND WITH THE FOSTER PROGRAM, (E) PLACE RESCUED DOGS INTO WELL-MATCHED, CAREFULLY SELECTED, PERMANENT ADOPTIVE HOMES AND (F) SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO THE COMMUNITY AND ALL DOG OWNERS BY PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION ON RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP, INCLUDING THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAY OR NEUTER, POSITIVE BEHAVIOR TRAINING AND GOOD NUTRITION.

Big Run Wolf Ranch is a federally licensed nonprofit wildlife facility that rescues and cares for North American animals and advances conservation through education. It offers on‑site and off‑site educational presentations, monthly public open-house events, camps and tours, and relies on public donations to support animal care.

The organization rescues stray and abandoned dogs in the eastern Coachella Valley, provides veterinary care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping) and places animals into foster or permanent homes. It also aims to be a local pet resource center offering low-cost services and community support.

All Paws rescues, rehabilitates and provides sanctuary for injured, orphaned, or abused wild, farm and exotic animals in St. Johns, Flagler and Putnam counties, and works to educate the community through outreach and (planned) on-site educational programs.

Our mission is to eliminate the causes of equine suffering through education and community outreach programs, rescue abused and neglected equines, and provide permanent sanctuary or selected foster homes for those equines.

Leader Dogs for the Blind breeds and trains dogs (and future owners) to assist the blind. Our mission is empowering people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. The mission of Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) is to shelter and care for abandoned companion animals, find them newhomes, and to prevent animal cruelty through education and community programs.

The Kindness Ranch provides a sanctuary and rehabilitation for animals previously used in laboratory research, caring for a wide variety of species and working to rehabilitate and, when possible, place animals into loving homes; animals that cannot be rehomed remain at the ranch to live out their days with ongoing care.

The mission of the Idaho Humane Society is to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty and promote humane education, awareness and compassion.
