Our mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. Our ultimate aim is to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia. This promotes more humane treatment of animals, increasing their chances of survival and adoption. We:• Provide donated comfort and care items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, pets of low-income seniors, pets of veterans, animal transports, fosters and wildlife sanctuaries.• Advocate for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education & public awareness anti-cruelty campaigns.• Raise awareness of the growing population of homeless animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, promoting adoption as the best option.

Founded in 2015, Tails of the Trail acts as a Community Outreach program offering weekly public hikes with animal shelters/rescues. Our goal is to exercise and socialize homeless dogs, helping to reduce stress and euthanasia rates while increasing awareness to pet advocacy.

We are dedicated to transitioning retired racehorses into second careers and placing them in the right home. We are based in Central Indiana and have facilities in both Indiana and Ohio. Established in 2005, FFI took its name from famed racehorse Ferdinand who earned four million dollars on the track and won the KY Derby, but was ultimately led to slaughter. Our mission is very clear - To promote equine welfare by providing chances for second careers to retiring racehorses in Indiana, Ohio and throughout the Midwest. We believe that it is a shame that retired racehorses who are sound, have the potential to be sound, have good minds and have options for a second career should face an uncertain future.

Ray of Light was established to provide a place where animals and people can form healthy connections in a safe environment. In addition, we aspire to be a healing presence in a wounded world. We are a non-profit animal rescue and animal-assisted therapy center and our organization operates programs involving horses that benefit the public and/or serve individuals with special needs, including but not limited to equine assisted activities and therapies. Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement, as well as community outreach and enrichment.

Through hands-on experience in a safe and peaceful environment, rescued horses and children facing conflicts or challenges come together to help each other learn to love and trust again.

To provide foster care, re-homing assistance, and hospice care to senior dogs that have been left behind by their owners, or are residing in shelters.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. Pet Orphans of Southern California (POSC) is dedicated to combating the national crisis of overpopulation, abandonment and euthanasia through extensive education programs. While focusing on the universal concern, POSC is committed to serving its community by rescuing and rehabilitating adoptable homeless dogs and cats, providing them with exceptional care and then carefully matching them with suitable adoptive families. In addition to education and rescue, POSC provides broad community support by offering a wide range of services including medical/financial, spay/neuter and training assistance, encouraging responsible pet guardianship thus reducing abandonment and other consequences that deepen the national crisis.

Animal Compassion Team of California works to rescue, rehabilitate, shelter and place domestic animals while promoting humane treatment and responsible pet ownership; they run adoption and foster programs and provide community education with a focus on spay/neuter and collaborative, no‑kill solutions.

The Humane Society of Delaware County strives to ensure the best treatment, care and placement of animals in need.

Friends of the Sea Otter is committed to and advocates for the conservation of sea otters and the preservation of their habitat through education, research, and policy decisions that will ensure the long-term survival of this species and the health of the marine coastal environment.

Canine Partners of the Rockies' mission is to positively impact the lives of Colorado residents with disabilities by placing highly skilled service dogs with individuals who have mobility limiting conditions and facility dogs with professionals who provide therapeutic services to people with disabilities. CaPR also is dedicated to educating the public about the role assistance dogs play in the lives of people with disabilities.
