The World Bird Sanctuary's mission is to preserve the earth's biological diversity and to secure the future of threatened bird species in their natural environments. We work to fulfill that mission through education, propagation, field studies, and rehabilitation.

The sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and provides long-term habitat for injured, orphaned, and surrendered Eastern box turtles, and runs education and outreach programs to protect box-turtle habitat and raise public awareness in Virginia.

Take in injured and orphaned North American Wildlife, get them well and then release them back into the wild. Also to Educate people of all ages about wildlife and how they can help Mother Nature.

Odin’s Heart Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc’s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release back into nature injured, ill or orphaned wildlife; give treatment and sanctuary to animals; and to provide free education to public with regards to wildlife.
