The Connecticut Zoological Society is responsible for the operations of Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut, founded in 1922. The CZS exhibits rare and endangered species primarily from North and South America. Education of the visiting public in the areas of environmental and conservation science and issues is our primary goal. The CZS supports conservation efforts in Connecticut and throughout the world.

Founded in 1998 by leading conservation ecologists, PBI conducts scientific research, training and outreach in ecology, conservation biology, botany and natural resource management, with an emphasis on climate change vulnerability, environmental futures and conservation leadership training. We are especially active in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and in Argentina, but we have conducted work throughout the Americas.

The North American Bluebird Society is a volunteer nonprofit focused on education, conservation, and research to support recovery and stewardship of bluebirds and other native cavity‑nesting birds across North America. It provides practical resources (nestbox plans, fact sheets), supports affiliates and grants, and runs public outreach to help increase and monitor bluebird populations.

Conservation Nation is an initiative of Friends of the National Zoo, the registered 501(c)(3) non-profit partner of the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute.

The Philadelphia Zoo, America's first zoo, is dedicated to its mission of conservation, science, education, and recreation. The core purpose is to advance discovery, understanding, and stewardship of the natural world through compelling exhibition and interpretation of living animals and plants. As an educational and recreational resource, the Zoo serves over 1.2 million people every year. It also provides special educational programs for over 560,000 children, teachers, and other adults. With the Zoo's broad reach and diverse constituency, the Zoo's mix of visitors mirrors the diversity of the local community.

We believe that when our Mother Earth and all her livingthings were created, a loving balance, respect, and communication existedbetween Humans, all other life forms, and the Earth. We believe that Humankindhas forgotten the original plan, to the detriment not only of others in theanimal kingdom, and of the Earth, but of ourselves. We believe that a return toan understanding of our oneness with All That Is will cure the cruelties andhorrors, and the illnesses with which we find ourselves surrounded. Through ourcaring contribution, we hope to help Humankind remember that original plan oflove and respect, to remember our natural ability to communicate with All ThatIs, and so return to balanced health, physically, mentally, spiritually, and inrelationship to all.

Audubon Nature Institute operates a family of museums, parks and research facilities on behalf of the City of New Orleans, Louisiana, dedicated to celebrating the wonders of nature. Through innovative live animal exhibits, education programs, and scientific discovery, Audubon makes a meaningful contribution to preserving wildlife for the future. Audubon Nature Institute flagships include Audubon Park, Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Entergy Giant Screen Theater, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Audubon Wilderness Park, and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium.

The mission of the SeaDoc Society is to ensure the health of marine wildlife and their ecosystems through science and education. We strive to find science-based solutions for marine wildlife in the Salish Sea through a multi-species approach. SeaDoc is a program of the Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

HawkWatch International's mission is to conserve the environment through education, long-term monitoring, and scientific research on raptors as indicators of ecosystem health

The National Marine Life Center rehabilitates and releases stranded marine mammals and sea turtles in order to advance science and education in marine wildlife health and conservation.
