The mission of the Friends of the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary, Inc. is to assist in the enrichment and enhancement of the lives of the animals living at the zoo sanctuary through funding special needs, creating partnerships, supporting educational activities and sponsoring special events.

The Friends of the Elephant Seal (FES), a non-profit organization established in 1997, is dedicated to educating people about elephant seals and other marine life and teaching stewardship for the ocean along the central coast of California. As a cooperating association with the California State Park, FES collaborates with the California Department of Parks and Recreation to address issues of the expanding Piedras Blancas northern elephant seal colony. Board members and over 100 docents/volunteer guides are uniquely positioned to contribute to education, science, research and wildlife conservation efforts relating to the largest mainland colony, estimated at 25,000 northern elephant seals.

Local Anne Arundel County branch of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (AASPCA) is located in Annapolis, MD and includes a no-kiill shelter for cats, dog, and other unwanted pets.

Friends of the Sea Otter is committed to and advocates for the conservation of sea otters and the preservation of their habitat through education, research, and policy decisions that will ensure the long-term survival of this species and the health of the marine coastal environment.

The Pacific Marine Mammal Center inspires ocean stewardship through animal rescue and rehabilitation, medical research, STEM education programs and advocacy for a healthy ocean.

Dedicated to preserve and protect the regions native wildlife and natural habitats by providing rehabilitation for sick and injured native turtles with the goal of releasing them back to their natural habitat. To educate the public regarding the plight of native turtles, their conservation and their worldwide critically endangered status that threaten their abundance and diversity.

Rescuing Boston Terriers regardless of age, health or adoptability. At Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida, it is our vision to become the most trusted rescue in the Southeast by providing a safe haven, comfort, love, and healthcare to all Boston Terriers in our rescue.

Wildlife Rescue of Central Texas cares for injured and orphaned wildlife, provides public education programs, and promotes peaceful coexistence with our wild neighbors.

The sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and provides long-term habitat for injured, orphaned, and surrendered Eastern box turtles, and runs education and outreach programs to protect box-turtle habitat and raise public awareness in Virginia.

The mission of The American Association of Zoo Keepers is to advance excellence in the animal keeping profession, foster effective communication beneficial to animal care, support deserving conservation projects, and promote the preservation of our natural resources and animal life.
