The Wolf Conservation Center teaches people about wolves, their relationship to the environment and the human role in protecting their future. Founded by Hélène Grimaud in 1999, the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental education organization working to protect and preserve wolves in North America through science-based education, advocacy, and participation in the federal recovery and release programs for two critically endangered wolf species - the Mexican gray wolf and red wolf. The WCC's three 'ambassador wolves' reside on exhibit where they help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment. Through wolves, the WCC teaches the broader message of conservation, ecological balance, and personal responsibility for improved human stewardship of our World.

Gotham Whale is a source of education, advocacy, and science for the inhabitants of New York, terrestrial and marine. They contribute to the improving health of New York’s marine environment, for the betterment of both humans and whales.

Friends Fur Life Rescue is a 501(c)3, a non-profit organization that is strictly made up of animal-loving volunteers. Their mission is to rescue “at-risk” dogs and cats that have been discarded and forgotten. They focus on the seniors, the ones with health issues and those abandoned, abused or neglected. Many animals we take in have extensive health or behavior issues and are pulled from local shelters before they are euthanized. Their only goal is to give every animal their furever home.

Friends of the Sea Otter is committed to and advocates for the conservation of sea otters and the preservation of their habitat through education, research, and policy decisions that will ensure the long-term survival of this species and the health of the marine coastal environment.

Ocean Alliance strives to increase public awareness of the importance of whale and ocean health through research and public education. We work with our scientific partners to collect a broad spectrum of data on whales and ocean life. Ocean Alliance uses this data to advise educators, policy makers, and the general public on wise stewardship of the oceans to mitigate pollution, prevent the collapse of marine mammal populations, and promote ocean and human health. ATR provides for the protection and education about all species of tortoise and turtle. We offer permanent sanctuary to abandoned tortoises. Foundlings that cannot be adopted because of ill health or because they are in danger of extinction remain in the care of American Tortoise Rescue for the remainder of their lives.

The Center for Whale Research conducts long‑term scientific monitoring of Southern Resident killer whales — including annual censuses and health assessments — to inform conservation policy and ecosystem recovery. It also runs public outreach and education programs (including an outreach center) to raise awareness and support for orca and habitat protection.
