PHS/SPCA is a private, independent, non-profit, and our scope of services goes beyond that of a so-called no-kill, or limited admission, facility. As an open-door shelter, PHS/SPCA accepts all animals brought to us, regardless of age, breed or size, and we’ve rehomed 100% of the healthy dogs and cats in our care since 2003 and promise to do this going forward. While rewarding, this isn’t our most challenging work and doesn’t define us. We accept our community’s sick, injured, abused, unwanted, stray, neglected and older animals; donations to our Hope Program enable us to help and rehome approximately 200 every month. (Sadly, private shelters in many communities never give them a chance). We rehabilitate wildlife, make spay/neuter free for our low or fixed-income residents, educate children, and investigate animal cruelty. PHS/SPCA is one of the few shelters in the entire state accredited by the American Animal Hospital association and we’re a gold-level GuideStar Exchange participant (click the seal below to access our GuideStar nonprofit report). We take our work and mission seriously, but also have fun. It's why we've adopted "Sit Happens!" as our Behavior & Training Dept slogan and have "Go Nuts” emblazoned across the back our of mobile spay/neuter clinic. Most important, we’ve earned our community’s trust, involvement and support.

Our mission is a 3 part mission: to rescue and revive the unbridled spirit in both our rescued horses and our American heroes. To educate and advocate for our American Mustangs as well as horses that are stuck in the slaughter pipeline. To offer our American heroes a place to come together and witness the extraordinary connections one can make with an unbridled spirit.

We specialize in the protection, conservation and advocacy for burrowing owls and their habitats.

Our mission is to protect and preserve the African elephant.Through habitat protection, community outreach, and the rescue and hand-rearing of young elephant orphans, Elephant Havens aims to become a leading voice in wildlife conservation awareness and wildlife protection. We envision a world in which African elephants and local communities co-exist without conflict, and where young elephant orphans are saved and reintroduced into the wild.

Friends of Africa International was created by a group of individuals fostering an interest in Africa, and recognizing a need for the perpetuation of awareness and assistance to various African conservation and cultural projects.

Living With Elephants Foundation is a Botswana-based non profit organisation dedicated to conservation of the African Elephant. The Foundation provides rescued African elephants with a second chance and safe home in the wilderness of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Doug and Sandi Groves have dedicated nearly 30 years to providing world-class care and refuge to these orphans. The elephants thrive in a loving supportive environment and are provided with specialized care. Living With Elephants is fiscally sponsored by SocialGood.
