femLENS' mission is to visually educate and make technologically aware the most vulnerable and resourceless women of our society through documentary photography made accessible by mobile phone cameras and cheaper point and shoot cameras.

We promote, organise and sponsor projects that contribute to developing local technological capacity, through synergy with public and private sector actors. Based on this capacity, we contribute to the design of policies and programs aimed at improving the quality of life of our community, generating technological links, promoting science and technology literacy and knowledge, and we promote the creation of technology and science based companies.

We want to be an institution recognised in the national and international university environment for the high quality of its academic activities, its insertion in the territory and its innovative university project, conceived and executed on a human scale. Our mission. We are an autonomous university institution, made up of people motivated by humanist ideals and the promotion of social development. Purpose. Our activity is oriented towards training, reflection, research and dissemination of academic thought, in interdisciplinary dialogue with other currents of opinion, and aimed at transforming societies towards satisfying the needs of their populations.

Our objective is to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of the charity sector by maximising donor contributions to eligible charities, through a Donor Advised Fund. By operating with minimal administrative overheads, we can make it easier and more efficient for a broad demographic of donors to give, and worthy organisations to receive donations.
