Carnaval Latino is presented by Hispanic American musicians and artists cultural association, a 501(c)(3) foundation that is dedicated to promoting and fostering the art and culture of the Latino community. The mission of the Spafford Children's Center (SCC) is to bring healing, hope, and prosperity to Palestinian children and their families in Jerusalem and the West Bank by offering programs and services that increase health in mind, body, and spirit. The mission of the American Friends of the Spafford Children's Center Fund (AFSCCF) is to support the SCC by raising funds in the United States. AFSCCF activities are implemented by a volunteer board of directors. AFSCCF pays no staff salaries and no overhead so that all funds, minus direct expenses like printing and postage, can be sent to SCC.
The name Azubuike, when translated, means, “The past is our strength.” The history of our organization predates the official incorporation in October of 2014. Ours is a collective story, we the founders have gathered all our years of experience as community members, activists, artist, educators, writers, mentors, and our passion for helping youth & community, into one entity of service, the Azubuike African American Council for The Arts! Azubuike’s Mission is to reconcile the racial divides that exist in our community by giving at-risk youth a voice to express themselves, be heard without bias, and spark a much larger conversation about race relations in the Quad Cities through the Arts. Our Vision is to use the Arts to help us understand our past, show us how to shape our future, while telling a compelling story about why our lives matter.
There are two prongs to the CAMMO mission: 1.) To create music-based therapeutic programming and outlets for service members, veterans and family members, and 2.) To train and educate service members, veterans, and their families in music career opportunities, including artist development.

The mission of the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art (SDAAMFA) is to present and preserve the art of African Americans globally and to broaden the knowledge and understanding of the visual arts in Southeastern California generally and San Diego specifically by collecting, preserving and displaying works of art by and about African Americans; by creating and hosting quality traveling exhibitions; by collecting and preserving fine art and by developing and helping to foster an appreciation of art through meaningful public programs, symposia, and other educational programs.
