Since 1986, BlackBerryRadio has utilized the platform of broadcasting to support and promote the awareness of mental health and the importance of nonviolent conflict resolutions among youth in our community.

Our mission is to help reduce homelessness and raise awareness for mental health through service to the community and hosting wellness events. We believe in breaking down stigmas that demonize the homeless and work to promote mindfulness through creative arts. We work daily to change the stigma associated with homelessness, poverty, and mental health by working across boundaries and leveraging resources to enrich the lives of those living in underserved and marginalized communities.

To create a holistic and safe space for youth in Lesotho to call home where they can be equipped with creative and artistic tools for mental and menstrual health in order to lead meaningful and impactful lives.

The Movement Factory's mission is to inspire young people to improve their mental and physical health, develop vital life skills, build confidence and selfesteem through dance. We focus our work across three key areas: Dance and Culture Youth and Community Cohesion Health and Wellbeing

Tshepong Centre exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by giving each mental health care user, emotional, physical and cognitive stimulation and development, therapy and rehabilitation.

Artbeat Studio is a mental health consumer initiated, peer directed, and recovery oriented program. This community-based studio accommodates artists whose mental health, social connection, and income make it impracticable for them, individually, to acquire a workspace where they might advance their artistic technique safely and securely. The artists are supported and mentored in managing their own workplace, production, and marketing within the operating parameters of the studio. Artbeat Studio accommodates a group of 9 artist applicants per 6 month period. Artbeat Studio is a non-profit registered charity providing services free of charge to the participants.

Mai Family Services seeks to raise awareness of the problems facing the South Asian community in Michigan and to provide support services in the areas of partner and family violence, substance abuse, mental health and senior issues through confidential and culturally sensitive intervention.

NOMAF expands the services of the NOMC and its mission to keep New Orleans music ALIVE by sustaining New Orleans’ traditional music cultures. We do this by providing cost-efficient access to comprehensive, wellness education and preventive health care, mental health and social services. Regardless of the patients’ ability to pay, NOMC is the medical home for more than 2,500 local musicians and tradition bearers.

Rock To Recovery uses group songwriting, playing, and recording to help people heal from addiction, mental health challenges, eating disorders, and trauma. The program connects participants with professional-musician facilitators (many in recovery themselves) to build community, self-expression, and coping skills through music.

Since it’s inception seven years ago, Lookup Theatre has performed at The Art Gallery of Ontario, LuminaTO, Nuite Blance, HarbourFront Centre and Cirque Pacifica (Hawaii), to name just a few. They have developed and performed several full-length kids’ shows on environmental awareness at The Kid’s World of Energy Festival and HarbourKIDS. During the fall and winter 2010/2011, Lookup developed a circus and theatre show with youth in the mental health community, to build self-esteem, encourage dignity and spread awareness of mental health issues in Canada. Now and over the next 2 years the youth are going to high schools in Toronto spreading their message with our circus show. In the summer of 2011, they brought the joy of social circus and theatre to the youth in Grey/Bruce County. This coming summer of 2012 help support the youth tour their environmental show in Grey/ Bruce county.
