The mission of the AFRP is to perpetuate and promote the rich, cultural Palestinian heritage of the Ramallah family and their descendants in the diaspora – estimated at approximately 40,000 in the U.S. – by providing programs that foster cultural and social interaction, as well as educational, humanitarian, civic and charitable opportunities.

A Blade of Grass supports socially engaged artists nationwide with a unique blend of direct support for artists, engaging content, vibrant public programs, research and evaluation, and advocacy. We partner with artists who engage in creative activism; prototype utopian futures; heal communities that struggle with systemic oppression; and both imagine and model collaborative, innovative solutions to intractable social problems.
