RuckusRoots is a 501(c)(3) non profit that merges the arts and sustainability into transformative experiences for underrepresented populations in Los Angeles. Our founding belief is that art has the power to inspire positive change and that creativity plays a crucial role in fostering social, economic and environmental justice.Our mission is to build stronger, more equitable communities by fostering connection, creativity and engagement, resulting in citizens who are empowered to build creative sustainable futures

To achieve the better livelihood of the rural population of different sections of the community through initiation of environmental conservation, social justice as well as innovative environmental friendly sustainable development activities. The goal is to assist for the improvement of household economy of the pro-poor population in order to achieve enhanced livelihood.

To promote the exercise of rights and civil liberties through Responsible Human Development, alongside populations that live in poverty and social exclusion.

To connect people through culture and creativity.

To be a welcoming space for the LGBTQIAP+ population, always taking into account intersectionalities, such as issues of gender expressions and identity, sexual affective orientation, race and class. To act in the promotion of human dignity and social well-being of all people in a broad and free way, working to guarantee the effective access of this population to social and economic rights, in order to contribute to the structural transformation of society.

The Multi-Ethnic Education and Economic Development ("MEED") Center is dedicated to assist the refugee, immigrants and low-income population with business development and job-readiness training.

Provide educational, financial, psycho-social and community support to its target population children, youth and women that will enable them to be self-reliant and successful adults.

Connecting people to nature through educational experiences that promote conservation.

Cabrillo Music Theatre’s mission is to introduce the musical theatre experience directly to socially, culturally, and economically diverse and underserved populations in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.
